With great joy and pride today we publish an important video that we have received from the Brazilian Maoists. The video shows how the Comrades celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Brazil (abriviated "P.C.B." in Portuguese) in a very impressive way. The images and messages in the video are a vibrant proof of the bold advance of the Maoists in Brazil in the struggle for the reconstitution of their Party and the advancement for the development of the New Democratic Revolution in service of world proletarian revolution.

We hereby report on some developments in the Nordic countries since the Day of Heroism.

On June 30, a new national organization to defend working class homes and communities were founded, the United Neighborhood Defense Movement. The statement of the comrades and a report of actions can be found here. We recommend our readers to have a look at this organization.

We have seen this week, just as it was predicted in the last editorial, Bolsonaro calling for a truce before the other “powers”. Actually, it is a double move: on the one hand he became a hostage (again) of the High Command of the Armed Forces (ACFA), he is forced to hand over pieces as the Education Ministry, which are so important to the far-right, at the barter counter to stop the impeachment; on the other hand, he sees the only opportunity for a second wind with this transitory retreat, delay the outcome of the investigations that he is targeted, waiting for better conditions for his military coup.
