On Saturday June 13, fighters attacked a convoy of military forces of Mali and one of troops form the UN-Mission, killing at least 26 soldiers.

On 14 June 2006, the forced eviction of the Zocalo in Oaxaca City, ordered by the tyrant Ulises Ruiz Ortiz, failed. This moment marked a turning point in the struggle of the workers and peoples of Oaxaca, as it created the unity of various efforts and agendas for a common goal: the overthrow of the tyrant and the formation of a popular government.

Despite the peace negotiations suspected members of the Taliban have killed at least 18 soldiers in two separate attacks on Wednesday.

Young revolutionaries called for action in the city of Medellín this Wednesday, June 10, in solidarity with the uprising of the American people, in rejection of state repression and the murder of the people's children, and also in rejection of the recent influx of new US troops into the country.

Also last week there were mass struggles and armed actions in the Indian-occupied part of Kashmir.

During the weekend, protests against the economic misery of the people led to fierce fights between the masses and the security forces.
