This year the 1st of May stood in the light of the state of emergency again, imposed by the bourgeoisie – but in a different way than one year before. Here is a brief overview of activities in northern Germany:

In Freiburg, various revolutionary and progressive organizations held a rally in the working-class district of Weingarten on the eve of May Day. Under the slogan "Against the state of emergency and crisis!" about 50 people gathered on the forecourt of the local shopping center, among them a contingent of proletarian revolutionaries.

In recent days, there have been attacks (allegedly) by the People's Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA), led by the Communist Party of India (Maoist) [CPI (Maoist), on the infrastructure of the old Indian state.

All the proletarians of the world and the oppressed peoples fight for revolution and socialism!

The comrades of the editorial staff of Rote Post have informed us that for 1st of May the new issue No. 39 will appear for the first time with a new design, and have sent us a picture of the front page, so that the inclined readers will not be irritated and will recognise Rote Post on this day, despite the numerous actions taking place all over the FRG.

At this point we are pleased to draw attention to a new solidarity committee from France.

In the midst of the complicated situation ahead of 1st of May, where "public life" is now to be completely shut down for 3 weeks, revolutionaries in Turkey are carrying out important actions and mobilization.
