This month there was a big strike at the railroad. The railroad workers first paralyzed freight traffic on the tenth of August and then passenger traffic on the eleventh. The whole strike action lasted until Friday 13 August.

In the following we publish the editorial of the 17th issue of the magazine "People's March" from India, titled "Covid second wave: Life get bad to worse".¹

We have no knowledge of the relationship, or lack of relationship, between People's March and the Communist Party of India (Maoist) or any other organization. We publish these materials as useful sources on the revolutionary struggle in India, but not as representing the views of the CPI(Maoist), except in the signed statements attributed to the CPI(Maoist) that appear therein.

In recent weeks, Rwandan and Mozambican soldiers have retaken Cabo Delgado province in northeastern Mozambique from insurgents. This military operation, staged by the rulers as a blow against "Islamists," was in fact directed against the deepest and broadest masses.

The followimg pictures were sent to us. In Freiburg a graffiti action was carried out and leaflets distributed, calling for the defense of Chairman Gonzalos life and health.

In France, the health passport has now been introduced despite ongoing protests.

Norway

Counter-demonstrations against fascist groups were held, in Oslo, Stavanger and Kristiansand.

In Dersim, Partizan revolutionaries successfully held the annual Munzur Culture and Nature Festival. While newspapers and leaflets were distributed to the masses, village meetings were held, revolutionary music was performed, agitation and propaganda were made on the two central issues of the festival and the graves of the fallen martyrs of the revolution were visited.

Since last week, the comrades in La Merced de Buenos Aires, Ecuador have been fighting firmly against the military, the police and the mining company Hanrine to defend their land. As a just response to the invasion, they have published an appeal which we would like to share here.

The military, the police, the authorities of the old state and the mining company Hanrine are invaders in the Merced de Buenos Aires, for all of them NO WATER!

They are the enemies of the poor peasants, of the common people, of the land, of the water and of the life.

When they approach your ranch or your house, you refuse them any support. If they are hungry, refuse them a crust of bread; if they are thirsty, refuse them a glass of water; if they want your cooperation, send them to hell!

Show them contempt and deep class hatred!
