In the following we publish an unofficial translation of an article of the Brazilian newspaper "A Nova Democracia".

On October 28, NRW Interior Minister Herbert Reul announced that the Taser will now be a permanent part of the basic equipment in the police departments of Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Duisburg, Essen and Cologne, the five largest cities in NRW. As a result, they will be equipped with a total of 620 so-called "distance electric impulse devices" (DEIG for short). That this new equipment is nothing more than an advancement of the militarization of the police becomes clear not least by the fact that only at the beginning of the month two persons died in a very short time by the use of electroshock pistols in the FRG.

Comrade Ka Oris (Jorge Madlos), spokesperson of the New People’s Army (NPA), was not killed in an armed encounter. He was ambushed on the road between Impasug-ong town proper & the national highway at 8 pm on Oct 29. He and his medical aide were riding a motorcycle on their way to seek medical treatment. This is according to his wife Ka Maria Malaya.

At October 30^th 5000 people goes on the street against the assembly law. This was the third big rally against the law. The protest was a union of many social groups like football fans, Union members and different democratic and revolutionary organizations. The anticapitalist-internationalist block took be part at the protest. On this block participate a contingent of proletarian revolutionaries from FGR and Turkey. The rally moves from Cologne city over the Rhine to Cologne Deutz and Kalk. The rally ended in a park in Cologne Kalk. The days for the rally the cops tell in bourgeois medias the possibility about riots from football fans and the leftist movement to have the possibility to attack the rally.

Both the EU Commission and the German government, which is currently still in office, have come up with new plans for data retention that go far beyond what they had originally demanded.

After atweet was published at the end of September denouncing that a rape victim at the police station in Montpellier was asked if she did not enjoy it, the accusations against the French police do not cease.

Following the call of the Communist Party of India (Maoists), proletarian revolutionaries in Bremen held a lecture against the counterrevolutionary Operation Prahaar on Wednesday, 03 November 2021. The lecture popularised the great people's war in India, denounced the terror of the old state in coordination with imperialism, and called for actions of international solidarity with the Indian comrades and against Operation Prahaar.

Combatants of the TKP/ML carried out actions in Istanbul-Esenyurt in memory of the comrades Nubar, Rosa, Özgür, Asmin who have fallen in the People's War last autumn. Banners saying "Nubar, Rosa, Özgür, Asmin live in our struggle, TIKKO fights" were put up and flyers with the appeal "TIKKO calls you to war" were distributed.
