Following the call of the Red Women’s Committee – FRG, on Wednesday, on the occasion of this year's International Women’s Day of Struggle, a contingent of proletarian revolutionaries participated in the anti-capitalist bloc of the main demonstration in Cologne, which was launched by a broad 8th of March alliance. About 5000 people took part in the demonstration as a whole.

On this year's International Women's Struggle Day, the Red Women's Committee Bremen mobilised for a demonstration in Bremerhaven's Goethe district under the slogan "Women combat and resist! Against the wave of price increases and militarism!".

In Hamburg, numerous gatherings took place on the 8th of March, the by far largest demonstration had several thousand participants. Here a contingent of the Red Women's Committee Hamburg also took part in the first third of the demonstration, carrying a banner with the slogans: "Women combat and resist: Against imperialism and patriarchy! Against the inflationary wave and militarism!".

Just in time for March 8, Foreign Minister Baerbock presented this week, together with Svenja Schule of the SPD the new, so-called "Guidelines for a Feminist Foreign Policy".

57 people were killed and hundreds injured in the train disaster in Greece last week. A disaster that is not so much a misfortune as a result of many years of austerity policies in all areas of the country. When we talk about this austerity policy, we must not forget the role of the EU and especially of German imperialism, which a little more than 10 years ago, within the framework of the EU bailout package, imposed almost unacceptable measures on Greece, under which the Greek people are becoming more and more impoverished.

Nordic Countries

A joint declaration titled:” To the streets 8th of March! For a class line in the Women’s movement!”, signed by The Struggle Committee (Norway), Anti-Imperialist League (Finland) and Anti-Imperialist Collective (Denmark), for the 8th of March. It has also been translated in the respective languages of the organisations signing the joint declaration.

On 25 February, three policemen were killed in a jungle in Sukman district, Chhattisgarh state by members of the Communist Party of India (Maoist)-led People's Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA). The policemen, who belonged to the paramilitary formation of the District Reseve Guard, had been ambushed early in the morning when they were trying to secure a construction site. Scores of anti-guerrilla forces were deployed to the district to try and fight the PLGA comrades.

Norway

Comrades from Tjen Folket Media reports that activists from Red Front has put up banners against Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. The banner was put up in Saupstad in Trondheim, an area where many workers live.
