Two soldiers of the Philippine Army were killed by rifle grenades detonated by New People’s Army (NPA). The ambush happened in Barangay Malangsa in Vallehermoso, Negros Oriental, 7:30 in the evening of March 15th. Two soldiers were also injured in the ambush.

Yesterday, March 20, 2023, at 6:00 pm, a rally took place in front of the Mexican Honorary Consulate in Düsseldorf. It joins a series of other actions in the FRG and internationally that support the broad resistance movement of poor peasants and indigenous peoples in Mexico against the construction of the so-called Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec (CIIT).

Late last week, Israeli forces carried out another massacre of Palestinians during an operation in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank. Several members of the armed forces, dressed in civilian clothes, opened fire on a large street in the middle of the city. Videos of the incident show a man lying on the ground and then being shot in the head by one of the Israeli assailants - a veritable execution in the open street. As a result, two Palestinians were killed in the operation and at least 20 others were injured after putting up strong resistance to the occupation forces.

Norway
The Struggle Committee in Norway has published a new report over activities of the 8th of March that took place in Oslo.
At 17:00 on Grønland square a demonstration took place that held up the slogans: ”Combat violence against women!”, ”Long live 8th of March – international womensday!” – women – life – freedom”. Music was played and speeches were held.
