From November 15 to November 25 The 2020 Brazilian municipal elections took place in which Mayors, Vice-Mayors and City Councillors of all 5,568 cities were to be elected. Comrades in Brazil developed a tremendous campaign calling for the boycott of this electoral farce. Despite the cheap demagoguery of the various candidates that particularly now, during the heavy impact of the Corona-Pandemic in Brazil, try to traffic with the needs of the masses the Superior Electoral Court had to report that in Porto Velho, the capitol of Rondonia, only 40% of the people allowed to vote did so in the second round of the elections.

On the 5th of December, about 2000 people participated in a demonstration in Hamburg, which was against the "Rondenbarg-trial". At G20 in July 2017, there was a spontaneous demonstration on its way from the protest-camp to the city center of Hamburg. In the street of "Rondenbarg", the police attacked the demonstrators. Now some of the demonstrators should be trialed with high jail sentences, only for participating in the demo.

On April 1, 1991, Detlev Rohwedder, president of the Treuhandanstalt, was shot in his house by a sniper.

Teachers and kindergarten personnel are to be allowed to test themselves and one-another on Covid-19 in the future. This decision was enacted on December 4 and will be implemented in January 2021. The rapid tests are supposed to be distributed free of charge to schools and daycare centers for children. This is part of the strategy of area coverage tests for recognition of Covid-19 cases.

Now that the lockdown has been tightened again on the first of December, the Ministry of Social Affairs in Baden-Württemberg has announced that the health authorities will impose additional night-time "exit restrictions" for areas with a corona incidence of over 200 infections per 100,000 inhabitants per week.

Last week, the "Ezilenian Sosyalist Partisi'nin" (ESP), the "Socialist Party of the Oppressed", organised a commemoration ceremony in honour of the revolutionaries who died in Turkey in the recent past in which representatives of different struggling parties, including the Partizan, participated. The ceremony was held in the face of the "ideological, political, military and organisational" attack by the old Turkish state in its offensive against the guerrilla areas, which caused considerable loss and destruction for the revolutionaries, and collectively underlined the consciousness of the reality of the struggle and the organisation based on it.
