Since 2018 German police in Rheinland-Pfalz is, according to them, „successfully“ using tasers in everyday patrols. From now on (that is, January 2021) these tasers, officially called „Distance Electro Impulse Devices“, this equipment is also to be used for policing three cities in NRW.

The comrades of Rote Presse have informed us that issue 34 of the Rote Post is online. Furthermore, they have also informed us that after the latest issue reaches them, they will publish the respective previous issue. The latest updated issue can be found here.

We want to share here a report on this year's LLL demonstration on the 10th of January, published on Tjen Folket Media at the Norwegian comrades.

It was already foreseeable: The lockdown is not expected to end on January 31. Chancellor Merkel and Baden-Württemberg's Prime Minister Kretschmann are pushing to move up the planned talks on an extension.
Kretschmann also wants to determine stricter regulations "as a precaution."

This year's LLL-Demonstration, commemorating the founders of the Communist Party of Germany and the Great Lenin, was different from the demonstrations in the recent years. This was not only due to the state of emergency of the German state and the pandemic, but was inevitably linked to it. The "tradition" of this demonstration is usually a mainly calm and rather boring one, apart from the usual maneuver of the police against the sympathisers and bearers of the symbols and flags of the Kurdish national movement. This year, however, the state chose a different approach to the demonstration. Motivated by the smaller number of participants than the previous years, due to the pandemic, obviously well directed and commanded by the political police and of course incited by their traditional reactionary hatred against all those who call themselves communists, the black-helmeted foot soldiers of German imperialism attacked the demonstration for more than an hour. The pretext used to beat up the participants, torture old people lying on the ground and mistreat many others, was the wearing of the symbols of the former GDR (German Democratic Republic) youth organisation FDJ (Freie Deutsche Jugend; in English: Free German Youth), which are by no means clearly banned in the FRG (Federal Republic of Germany).

We are very pleased to share here an important document of the Communist Party of Turkey / Marxist-Leninist (TKP/ML). After publishing the statement of the Politburo of the Central Committee on the 1st Congress of the party history in English in May 2019, the full documents of the Congress have now been translated into English.

Denmark

On the 9th of January protests against the restrictions of democratic rights was held in Copenhagen with between 200 and 250 protesters. The protesters denounced the de facto annulment of the freedom of assembly, that the state is enforcing and questioning why the all the measures against corona put all the burden on the people. There was in several speeches mentioned that there is no democracy in Denmark, and that all members of parliament do not serve the interests of the people and that it would be necessary to “wreck the system”. The demonstrators blasted a song called “Mette Ciao”, which is a remix of the Italian partisan song Bella Ciao, with the name referring to social-democratic Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

The yearly march in commemoration of the Martyrdom of the founders of the Communist Party of Germany, the eagles Rosa Luxembourg and Karl Liebknecht, united for ever with that of Lenin, is normally a quite dull affair. The countless political groups line up their forces and measures their relative strength. One have to be somewhat creative to spice up the show. The most exciting thing normally is the obligatory police-assault on the folks carrying symbols of the Kurdish nationalist movement. This year the German State decided to shuffle the deck. In this “modern times” an unprecedented attack on the demonstration, a full-blown assault was launched. The offspring of the Freikorps murderers, then as well as today under a Social-Democratic government, released their rampant fascist rage on the ones honoring the leaders of the working class. Result: more than 30 demonstrators detained, some whereabouts in this very moment are still unknown, several comrades in hospital with severe fractures, fighters tortured in the hands of the goons of the imperialist, children of the working class threatened to death by the Übermenschen. Why? Because they fought back, they hit back and the stood their ground. Cause that´s what the Reds do.

State of Emergency? Fuck you!

Police violence? Fuck you!

Assault, manhandling, torture, detention and death threats? Fuck you!

Imperialist Pigs you will reap what you sow!

With interest.

The children of the working class in this country, shoulder by shoulder with the Partisans of the Peoples War in Turkey, together with the fighters of the North and in a united front with the revolutionary movement in the FRG. When we wipe away the blood from our faces, we can truly say, it was a beautiful day.
