For May 17, the 39th anniversary of the Initiation of the People’s War in Peru, the Communist Party of Peru (Reorganization Committee) published the declaration “The spark that lit the prairie on May 17, comrades, never went out”. Ever since, this document is being circulated widely for it inspires the masses and revolutionaries and challenges them to rise to the call of the World Proletarian Revolution. Already, this declaration has been translated from Spanish into English, Portuguese, German, Turkish and Danish. In the following, we additionally document the Chinese translation that was send to us:

While preparations in France are currently ongoing for the culmination of the country-wide campaign in support of political prisoner G. I. Abdhallah and amidst the continued Yellow Vest protests, where the comrades are in the thick of the struggle, the Maoist Communist Party within the French State has now translated and published the first chapter of the Interview with Chairman Gonzalo. This Interview, often referred to as the Interview of the Centenary, was originally published in Spanish by El Diario eight years after the initiation of the People’s War in Peru and manifests a popularization of the politics of the Communist Party of Peru and particularly its first Congress. Comrades have now made a new and improved translation into French that is available in the Bibliothèque Marxiste and will be published chapter by chapter every Monday on the website of the PCM.

Sudan, like all countries of the African continent, is a semi-colonial and semi-feudal country dominated by bureaucratic capital. In April, President Bashir, who ruled for over thirty years, was overthrown by popular masses and the military.

Corresponding to international developments, the overview section of organizations and links on this website has been updated very recently. Now it includes proper links to two fairly new websites operated by Maoists in Denmark as well as to two websites from comrades in Switzerland. Furthermore we want to draw attention to the well maintained and recently revamped website of the comrades from Norway.

To further complement the initial report on the actions against the elections in the European Union, comrades from Finland have forwarded information on how the boycott campaign unfolded in their country.

We want to share a report published by the "Antifaschistische Aktion - Infoblatt" from Austria. It shows the very lively and various activities which have been developed in the campaign against the EU election.

Henceforth, we document a video covering several actions of the past weeks in Brazil, but particularly of the countrywide day of action on May 15, in the context of the protests against the cut-backs in education.
