We publish this english translation of the article "A pequena burguesia na revolução democrática" from A Nova Democracia issue 197:

The incredible failure of PT/Pecedobê management after 14 years leading the old Brazilian State has been a demonstration of the collapse of the reformist and opportunist petty-bourgeoisie in transforming the society through the bourgeois State.

x03
Strike of the teachers of Peru gave an example of combativeness of the proletarianised sectors

This way they have rendered concrete their alliance with landownership and the big-bourgeoisie and as a result were submitted to imperialism through the national domination, confirming the opportunist nature of their ideology.

PERSONIFYING FOR NOT POLITICIZING

The PT leadership has been trying to prevent Luiz Inácio conviction so that they can have the possibility of presenting his candidacy as the country’s saviour; on the other hand they have been ignoring the workers’ and people’s demands against the measures of PMDB’s gang on their rights so hardly conquered. For atracting the trampled masses they promote pilgrimages and spend TV time for cultuating Luiz Inácio’s image.

PT believes that - by creating the artifice of personifying Lula’s campaign around the same political project, this time more to the right – the crise scenery will divide the traditional rightists again and with the masses’ votes deceived by the assistentialist programmes and the people’s repulse to PMDB and to PSDB, they will certainly win. What PT ignores, like all the others which constitute the One Party, is that the masses have learned with their setbacks. Therefore the boycott to the election’s farse will be larger than ever in our history.

REVOLUTIONARY SITUATION

The general crisis of capitalism, in the imperialist phasis of economic decrepitude and political reacionarization, reverberates everywhere in Brasil. It unmasks the One Party’s acronomyns and shows the power groups of the ruling classes’ fractions in its internal war in order to know which of them maintains the Old State hegemony.

As the dominated clases cannot stand such an exploitation they fight to defeat the ruling classes’ domination and prepare the revolution, not as an alternative, but as the only way out the class struggle has imposed them: the Democratic Agrarian and Anti-imperialist Revolution.

The passage of free-concurrence capitalism to the monopolies (imperialism) and beginning of the proletarian revolution era has made the bourgeoisie lose the capacity to lead a national-democratic project for the late capitalism countries, therefore bureaucratic capitalism (countries dominated by imperialism, colonial/semicolonial and semifeudal ones). Thus the petty-bourgeoisie has presented itself with fake projects which are nothing more than national subjugation versions.

In the Brazilian situation it is still valid what we wrote – AND third edition and the article The end of the bourgeois democracy history and the time for the people’s democracy: “ From the attempt to defend a rotten democracy comes up the general opportunists’ tatics all over the world, centered on the recognition of these system, therefore legitimizing it, in the name of being this the way and denying it. In our reality and as an example, in PT –not on their bourgeois leading layer and openly opportunist but amidst the intellectuals on the left who call themmselves Marxists –such an opportunism is fully expressed. Let us see Wladimir Pomar whose book, ‘Democratic and Socialist Revolution in Brasil’, justifying his PT project, has an amazing conclusion. He affirms that:”An organization that does not prepare itself for disputing with the enemy on its grounds is predestinated either to capitulation or to be annihilated”. The people’s struggle esperience for ther social and national freedom clearly demonstrates that the ones who do not prepare themselves to oblige the enemy to fight on the revoluctionary grounds will enevitably capitulate and transform themselves in enemies’ tools for perpetuating their domination.

RADICALIZED PARCEL

As we read in the article The Working class in the Democratic revolution, AND edition number 196, either in Russia or in China, Lenin and Mao Tsetung have detached the leading role for the proletariat in the democratic revolution, giving to the petty-bourgeoisie the ally’s role. Under the conditions for the development and decomposition of imperialism, the petty-bourgeoisie –mostly in the dominated countries, has many layers which have increasingly proletarized. They are the extensive mass of teachers and professors.

The radicalized professors’s strike in Peru this year, 2917, as well as the professors and teachers in Rio de Janeiro, 2014, Paraná, 2015, united to the strikes, occupying schools with the combattant youth demonstrated vigorously the revolutionary potential of the radicalized parcels of the petty-bourgeoisie. Such a potential grows when the parcels accept to struggle under the leadership of the proletariat through their revolutionary party, the authentic Communist Party.

AGRARIAN REVOLUTION

The land seizure has never stopped despite the boycott of the opportunist leadership. They have received excellent help from the supporting committees for the Agrarian Revolution with food donation and understructure from cmpaigns developed in schools and universities. Besides, people have been transferred to the Revolutionary Areas to colaborate with education and technical orientation.

The democratic revolution, in its agrarian form, demands the proletariat leadership an alliance with peasantry as the principal force.

The main experience of the democratic revolution of the new type, that is, led by the proletariat which happened in China under chairman Mao Tsetung, has taught us that for being accomplished it will benecessary to buil up the three fundamental instruments for Revolution: the Communist Party, the People’s Army and the Revolutionary United Front.

The United Front ( the front for the revolutionary classes) composed by the classes exploited by the landownership, by the big bourgeoisie and imperialism, led by the proletariat party, taking the worker-peasant alliance, is composed by the petty-bourgeoisie and, under certains circumstances, by sectors of the middle- bourgeoisie that, though vacillating, is part of the spectre of classes submitted to bureaucratic capitalism.

It is necessary to set tasks to all of them, and this is the great Lenin’s lesson that chairman Mao has incorporated for the functioning of the revolutionary United Front with the objective to reach victory for the Democratic, Agrarian and Anti-imperialist Revolution ininterrupt to Socialism.
