From Dazibao Rojo we join the deep pain suffered by all of us who share the struggle with our comrade and founder of Dazibao Rojo Martin Naya. We promise to continue your great work of study and propaganda, comrade!

There are men who fight one day and are good, there are men who fight for a year and are better, there are men who fight for many years and are very good. But there are those who fight their whole lives and these are essential. (Bertolt Brecht)

With deep sorrow, we have to deliver the bad news of the death of our great comrade Martín Naya. On September 3rd, after intense struggle against various diseases, giving his latest example of courage and determination, he decided to travel the bright path of the immortal revolutionary.

The Galician proletariat in particular, and the international proletariat in general, lost one of the most important figures of Maoism in the last 40 years, a great connoisseur of the work of Chairman Mao and Chairman Gonzalo, as well as of all revolutionary movements, past and present, at the international level, he was a true teacher of the masses and a tireless organizer and militant, he was known as Miguel Alonso for the international proletariat, writing numerous articles on Maoism, making great contributions to the ideological struggle and two-line-struggle in the ICM, always forceful and often polemic, but always with respect for comrades and open to correct his mistakes, as Chairman Mao taught us.

Comrade Martín Naya was born on July 28th 1952, he began his political activism at a very young age, actively participating in the PTG (Partido de los Trabajadores de Galicia/PTE), an organization of Marxist-Leninist Mao Tse Tung thought, in which he held various representative positions, as well as in the Unitary Confederation of Unions of Workers (CSUT).

After the Deng Xiao Ping coup, many organizations left Maoism and many turned to revisionism as in the case of the PT. So the comrade left the organization and continued to think that Chairman Mao's ideas were correct, following the evolution of Maoism in the world, particularly what was happening in Peru and in the RIM. He was the comrade who held high the red flag of Maoism in Galicia from this time to the end of his days. He was a man who stood firm in the defense of Maoism with unwavering commitment and sacrifice in the face of many setbacks and difficulties, tirelessly fighting for the interests of the people and for the cause of the World Proletarian Revolution.

In 1989 he organized a series of conferences in Galicia on the situation in Peru on behalf of members of the Communist Party of Peru.

In 1993, with the arrest of Chairman Gonzalo, he organized the Galician Emergency Committee to defend his life. Carrying out with other comrades, a multitude of activities during the duration of the Committee, conferences by the lawyer of the International Delegation Miguel Arnau, concentrations in front of the Consulate of Peru in A Coruña, collection of signatures, concerts and even recitals of poems by César Vallejo. The comrade has always been firm in the defense of Chairman Gonzalo and in his Thought, as command and guide of the Revolution in Peru, denouncing the lies of the genocidal Fujimori-Montesinos and fighting the ROL with all his might.

In 1993 he created the Correo Vermello as an international propaganda apparatus for Maoism.

In 1996 the People's War began in Nepal, and shortly afterwards he organized the Galician Committee to support the People's War in Nepal, which would campaign in various parts of Galicia, until the surrender and retreat of the Maoist Communist Party led by the traitors and renegades

Prachanda-Batarai. The comrade took up on him as the first the error of not having seen the betrayal in Nepal beforehand.

In 2006 he founded the Committee of Loita Popular "Manolo Bello", the first MLM organization in Galicia.

In 2008 he created Dazibao Rojo, becoming one of the informative referents of Maoism in the world in Spanish.

In 2010, together with other comrades, he organized the Galician Committee to support the People's War in India.

In 2012 he founded, with his comrades from CLP “MB”, the Committee for the Construction of the Maoist Communist Party of Galicia. The Comrade was one of the greatest promoters for holding a sole International Unified Marxist-Leninist-Maoist Conference until his last days.

In 2014 he founded the Movimento de Loita Popular with other comrades, as a mass organization. Becoming for several years the reference of the popular struggle in A Coruña. Highlighting the fight against evictions, corruption and the workers' struggle, as well as the solidarity with the struggle of the Brazilian people against the Soccer World Cup or the tour of the MFPR from Italy. In 2018 he organized the Marxist Studies Group of the CS A Comuna de A Coruña.

Yes, comrades, Maoism has lost one of its essentials, a great leader, but his example of study, work, commitment and ideological firmness will remain forever in the memory of the exploited and oppressed peoples of the world. From here, the Committee for the Construction of the Maoist Communist Party of Galicia commits itself to continue with his Maoist example, keep the flag of Maoism high, fight for a sole International Unified Maoist Conference, and build the Maoist Communist Party of Galicia as a fundamental tool to build the Army and the Front and through the People's War create the Galician Socialist Republic as a base of support for the World Proletarian Revolution.

Eternal honor and glory to comrade Martín Naya!!!

Comrade Martín Naya, present in struggle!

Long live Marxism-Leninism-Maoism!!!

Long live the World Proletarian Revolution!!!
