Suspected memebers of the PLGA under the leadership of the CPI(maoist) attacked a police camp in Chhattisgarh’s and killed one officer. Two days later a patrolling unit got attacked.

 

The first action took place on July 27 at around 8.30 at the Kademeta camp under Chhote Dongar police station in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district. According to the police two armed person approached to the camp located in a forest and fired two rounds at a member of the Chhattisgarh Armed Forces, securing the camp, killing him.

 

After the attack the combatants retreated to the forest. The by the reaction initiated search operation was also no successful.

 

On July 29 a patrolling unit of the District Reserve Guard were attacked in the Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. One officer were wounded in the incident.
