Despite reactionary and defeatist propaganda the People´s War is continuing to deal severe blows to the reactionary forces in India. While the old Indian State dreams of having quelled the People´s War by 2022, revolutionary forces under the leadership of the CPI (Maoist) have unleashed a number of significant actions in recent weeks:
- On the 7th of October a police informer was killed in the district Malkangiri in Odisha after he repeatedly ignored the advice given by the comrades to stop snitching and continued with his counter-revolutionary activities. On his body a notice was found denouncing his treachery against the people.
- An action was carried out by the People´s Liberation Guerilla Army against two counter-revolutionary elements on the 4th of October in Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh.
- On the 2nd of October CRPF-Officer was injured in an IED-blast. While his unit was on patrol in the forests of Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, he trigged the self-made mine by stepping on it and was seriously injured.
- In an attempted attack on a camp of the PLGA located in Narayanpur in Chhattisgarh a member of the reactionary armed forces was wounded, when an officer of the special forces was hit by a bullet on the 27th of September.
- On the 10th of September two policemen were ambushed by a unit of the PLGA in the district Gadchiroli in Maharashtra. The comrades opened fire when the two officers, travelling on a motorcycle, were passing them. One of them was severely wounded and had to be evacuated by helicopter.
- In another action the same day in Bijapur in Karnataka a coach of a big Indian travel agency was torched, after the passengers were asked to leave the bus.
- On 9th of September the People´s Liberation Guerilla Army targeted a construction site belonging to a major communications provider of the Indian comprador bourgeoisie. This action took place only a few days after the trial against 13 cops had started, who raped a woman in a close by village.
