In the following we document a translation of the statement made by comrades from Ecuador on occasion of the 26th of December:

 

 

 

With much joy and class optimism the proletariat and the oppressed people of Ecuador and the world celebrate another anniversary of the birth of Chairman Mao Tse Tung.

 

This takes place in the middle of a convulsed world: Collusion and struggle between the imperialist countries (USA, Russia, China) for a new strategic repartitioning of the planet, and which has the strategic support of the revisionism of a new coining. But we also celebrate it amidst the indomitable response of the masses to imperialism in Syria, Palestine, Yemen and other countries, especially those in which the proletariat, in strategic alliance with the poor peasantry, unleashes victorious People's Wars such as in India, Turkey, the Philippines and Peru; Constitution and reconstitution of Communist Parties that struggle to unleash People’s Wars in their countries - always in service of the Great World Proletarian Revolution.

 

This is „Great disorder under the heavens will lead to great order under the heavens“. It can not be otherwise, and it is clear that establishing this new order under the heavens will only be possible by organizing and developing People’s War until Communism.

 

In Ecuador, the celebration of the birth of Chairman Mao is done under this tenor, constructing the necessary instruments to organize and develop the New Democratic Revolution or Democratic Revolution of New Type, which is precisely a quantitative and qualitative contribution of Chairman Mao to Marxism-Leninism with regard to the Marxist theory of the state; construction, that is not carried out under the premise of the revisionist thesis of the „cold accumulation forces“, but, on the contrary, with the same vigor of the popular struggle and the active preparation for the People’s War.

 

In the current moment and circumstances, the organisation, subject of the direction of the proletariat  leadership exercised by the Maoists in the country will one again be put in tension in the struggle against the comprador regime of Moreno, which was erected and supported by the revisionism and opportunism of old and new type, which hits the popular economy in the midst of an electoral fuss, which, as always, traffics with the interests, struggles and demands of the exploited and impoverished masses.

 

Celebrating the Birthday of Chairman Mao constitutes, once again, an act that, beyond recognizing the contributions of Maoism made to Marxism-Leninism, becomes a solid foundation of the unity of principles of the international proletariat.
