In several cities in Bolivia on Saturday police units joined the protests of the people.

The protests and fightings are now lasting for three weeks. So far, three people have been murdered by police, thousands injured and hundreds arrested. On Saturday, November 9th, policemen laid down their arms in three cities and joined the protests. In La Paz, policemen joined in a demonstration, and in Cochabamba police forces claimed "from now to be on the side of the people and not on the generals". In Santa Cruz, policemen climbed onto the roof of the policestation, waving the Bolivian Flag and called slogans like "El Pueblo unido, jamás será vencido (the united people will never be defeated)".

UPDATE: On Sunday the 10.11.2019 Maduro resigned as Bolivian president, but this will not change the prevailing state form.
