The past week the Peoples Liberation Guerrilla Army under the leadership of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) carried out several actions in the ongoing Peoples War, killing three security forces.

On March 14, a unit of the Chhattisgarh Armed Force(CAF) were ambushed during a patrol in the forests of Chhattisgarh's Bastar district. The units are deployed in the area to secure the road construction work in the region. In these attack two security personnel were killed.

In the same area a member of the Central Reserve Police forces were wounded by the explosion of an Improvised Explosive Device.

On March 11, a member of the District Reserve Guard, a paramilitary unit, were abducted on is way home and later killed. This incident took place in Argatta village in Sukma district, also in Chhattisgarh.
